Ayer se cumplieron 26 años, loco... ayer, fue feriado por tu culpa, ¿no? Mil feriados hubiera cambiado por 26 años de música... (bueno, seguiré creyendo que es feriado por ti).

Ayer fui a un homenaje en tu nombre, como hace un año no iba porque me hacía falta alguien que ayer me hizo más falta que nunca.

Ayer lloré cuando escuché "In my life" por la ausencia de ese alguien, pero ahí estabas tú de nuevo, loco, mirando como hace 12 años me miraste por primera vez y yo corrí con mi libro blanco en la mano (mi primer libro de los Beatles) para enseñárselo a esa profesora culpable de mi fanatismo, ella por quien me empezaron a gustar ustedes solamente para que me prestara un poquito más de atención. Ayer también me acordé de ella, venga, si supiera la condenada.

Ayer recordé, entre risas, que una vez me dejé cerquillo para tener el look beatlesco y para mantenerlo, tenía que lacear mis rulos rebeldes todas las mañanas...

Ayer canté hasta que mi voz sonó tan aguardientosa como al de Sabina, y me dijeron que canto bien.

Ayer quise robar la estatua que te habían hecho y que el concierto durara toda la noche (faltaron varias canciones).

Ayer Mara-Maje se volvió loca conmigo cantando, saltando y bailando hey jude, hey jude, twist and shout, imagine, lalalalalalalaa, ayer ella me hizo sentir feliz.

Ayer, loco, ayer... ayer fue uno de esos 8 de diciembre de siempre, ¿no?
